Human spirits cannot be our angels insomuch as an angel can never be human and a human can never be an angel (with the exception of Archangel Metatron/Archangel Sandalphon see reference).  Most traditions say that humans can never be angels.  Having said that, the loving spirit of passed-over relatives can and do, watch over us from the other side.  They are able to send us loving energy in a similar way to angels.

Humans are spirit in the body-vessel, but angels are pure light energy.

while i do believe in divine creatures, i've also always believed that what people believe to be angels are in fact ghosts.
if all you see is 'suffering' then that is all you will feel. look for what is better in yourself and see only that.

I do believe in the Bible also believe in the ability to have family watching over you from heaven . I also do believe that you do have to watch yourself as well because there are evil spirits as well. So you need to watch what is around you .

Angels are a separate species. Dead humans do not become angels. And yes, we all have guardian angels. I believe we have more than one each.

Well I would like to think that our deceased loved ones are watching over us and are our guardian angels.  I don't know if it's true or not though.  I think it's just all what you believe.  Has it been proven that deceased humans can't be angels?

It may be that our deceased loved ones watch over us. If that is their desire when they go to the afterlife, surely God will not say no to their desire after all heaven (we're presuming that's where our loved ones are) is a place where our ultimate desires are fulfilled. However, the Bible says that angels and humans are two different species. Two different classes of beings. We can sincerely believe whatever we wish, but we can be sincerely wrong.

Well if you're wondering if your grandmother is watching over you, then I would say yes assuming she's in heaven and would want to watch over you while in heaven. But like the others I think our angel would be separate. At times I think we have more than one, but I think our angels were with us since birth, just like God.

i have learned that after death all cannot be angels or demons. it depends on how many sins they carry along with them. the quality and quantity of sins are not to our calculation.. god will have his own calculation of sins and good... so once the siins are reduced or deducted then there may ba a chances for becoming a angel... so dear it is not to our calculation that your grandfather is good or not may be in his thought he may be wrong... if he is really good then there may be a chance he may be an angel

Really? That was my interpretation before, that if we'll died and we've done something good God will make us an angels. Do you think God continues creating an angels?

The way I think is that in a way yes your grandma is an angel that becomes a gardian to watch over you until you meet her again at the gates of heaven . At least that is what I was taught .

If she was kind and loving towards you while on earth, why could she not continue that show of love in the form of protection? I do not see any reason why your grandmother could not be a guardian angel for you.

i beliebve if you believe she is then she is. Angels can be in our heads giving us subtle information rather than an actual being for example.

When your loved ones die, they merge with the Universal Soul but their love and affection for you never ceases. So, i believe that your grandma or for that matter anyone who loved you, when they were alive become your guardian angel after their death.
