Whether he or she is an Angel is unknown to me. What I do believe is that, if you're struggling at some point in your life, going through a rough patch, so to speak, you will receive divine guidance that comes directly from God, or your Guardian Angel, except it comes directly through another person.
The possibility that you have encountered an Angel still exist, primarily because you usually do not see these individuals again.
I had moved back to the San Fran Bay Area as a young adult, but after being there for about 2 weeks, living with a relative, I thought that the cost of living was too expensive for me to make it there. Was really down, seriously considering going back to Texas. I was at my lowest one day, had a conversation with a total stranger, a lady who calmly told me, "you will be alright, you will find a place to live that you can afford and everything will work out." As simple as the statement was, she had a certain peace about her and she was absolutely correct. Within a week or two after our conversation I found a place and found two jobs.
Another occasion, about 12 years later, I'm living in Atlanta (because of a job promotion I moved to Atl, that's the only reason I left the "City By The Bay"), had been married for 6 years and was going through a divorce and a not so pleasant custody battle. I was working out at the gym one Saturday afternoon. There were not that many people in the gym because it was a sunny day, on the weekend. I left the gym and after driving for a block or so, I said to myself, I may as well go back to the gym and work out for another hour or so because when I get home there won't be anything to do (at the time my ex-wife had temp custody and the kids were with her).
I turn around, go back to the health club and go back to the same locker that I used a few minutes earlier. Low and behold, my drivers license were in that locker, and I didn't even realize I had left my DL's at the gym. That's not really a big deal of course, that's no miracle. However, there was one guy in the locker room about 2 feet from me. I told him what just happened, that I came across my DL and was not aware that I had left it there. His response was, "Isn't God good?" Well, that kinda caught me off guard (not thinking it was that big of a deal) but I responded, "well, yes, God is good."
He and I started to talk and since I was going through a divorce and custody battle I mentioned it to him because that's the one concern that weighed heavily on my mind at the time. I told him I was fighting for custody of my son and daughter. He asked me, "do you mind if I pray for you?" Right there in the locker room. I believe that we were the only 2 people in the locker room. Again, his question caught me off guard, but I replied, "sure, we can pray." We both took one knee and he started praying. Not too long of a prayer, it was relatively short and concise. I shook his hand went back out in the workout area and continued my workout.
I had never seen the guy before, I never saw him leaving the locker room, and I never saw him again. A couple months later, Aug 1999 I was awarded full custody of my two children.
What made this an unusual situation is that I had never left the gym and come right back. Even if I had not returned I would have realized, once I got home, or at some point, "I don't have my drivers license." It would not have been a problem to pick it up later, and I'm pretty sure someone would have turned it in to the front desk.
It appeared to me then and now that there was a reason for me to return to the gym within 5 minutes of leaving. I'm not into religion, I subscribe to no religion, but I've always believed in the power of prayer and meditation.
