Have you ever met or even known someone who was mysterious, had a certain aura to them, and would always do the right thing? Did you ever think they were angels? Share you experiences.
We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.  ~Luciano de Crescenzo

YES. I've encountered and experienced and I believed it was an angel. I worked and lived in the church for how many years. One time the church had a " morning Prayer" program. I was the gate keeper and I need to open the gate before 4 am because that time people will come and pray. One day, I woke up 20 minutes before 4 am and I hurriedly go and open the gate. As on my way to the gate I saw a man in the pulpit kneeling. I was thinking that it was my Pastor's wife who woke earlier than me. After opening the gate, I wash my face, cleaned up and changed. Then, I went inside the church to pray and the man is still there. He/she was quiet and I thought the man was fallen asleep while praying. Take note than in my Pastor's family, only my pastor's wife usually go downstairs and pray as their house/parsonage is in the back of the church. The children are still young and go to school so they didn't join us in our morning prayer. My Pastor prefer to stay in their room and have morning prayer there. So, that person must be my pastor's wife. The person, wear white dress and I didn't look at him much because I really thought that it was my Pastor's wife. So, I quietly kneel to the chair next to the person and pray. I still didn't hear anything from him/her. I continued in praying and after few minutes, I heard somebody singing from the back of the church/parsonage. Besides singing, I heard heavy steps as well going down on the stairs. I am pretty sure that the person who is singing is my Pastor's wife. And it means that she just woke up and about to pray. So, remembering the person kneeling next to me I was kind of frightened and made me think if who was it. I opened my eyes and looker at the place at where that person kneeling before and nobody was there. Then, on the far end, I saw my Pastor's wife kneeling but still singing and she we a flowery red dress. I stopped praying and sit in a one corner thinking who may be that person that was praying earlier even before I open the gate. After that moment, many church member come and pray but I didn't kneel down again because what I see really troubles me. I believed it was an angel. I had 2 time experienced with unusual person and that one is still clear in my mind and I keep it always. What do you think? It was an angel or something? :)

I think i could say that those people i met in life that are good Samaritans or doing good things for others and for their community are can be coined as angels in disguised. Good people are certainly heaven sent.

Yes, I believe that meeting angels in disguise is possible.

When I was younger, I was walking to my work when I suddenly felt stomach upset and suffered an "intestinal accident" in a middle point between my home and my office, but then needing to wash myself. I remembered a nearby forest with a river running downhill so I went there.

Being a woman and getting into the forest alone may be risky anytime and anywhere, but I didn't care, I needed water and my only chance to get it was going to the river. However, I ignored that a consortium had constructed some houses around the forest entrance, houses not yet inhabited.

I didn't care either and kept walking inside the forest, but when I reached the last house on the road, an old man appeared from nowhere and approaching to me said "Hey miss, don't turn left at the next intersection because there is an abandoned car where criminals hide."

I thanked him for the advice, and both of us kept on walking our way. However few steps ahead I felt curiosity and looked back to see where that man was going to. Surprisingly the old man had gone and there was not way to leave the forest from that point nor to enter in to the new, closed houses, which entrance door was not on that side of the road.

It didn't walked to such intersection because anyway the river was already a few steps ahead from the encounter point. I could see the abandoned car in the distance so the old man really knew about, and pme week later I read in the newspaper how the police caught a criminal gang hiding and assaulting people in that forest.

Since then. I am convinced that such old man was an angel in disguise who wanted to protect me.

Amazing stories! I don't think I ever met an angel in disguise, although I had strangers help me at times, and I was always grateful.

However, my son may have experienced angel help. A few years ago he, his wife and my baby granddaughter lived about 3 miles from us. It was a very hot summer day, around 104. The landlord (being a very mean person) had the electricity turned off in my son's apartment one morning, for no reason. My daughter-in-law was at work when this happened, My son's cell phone wasn't working, they didn't have a house phone, so my son  put his baby daughter into her stroller and proceeded to walk in the hot sun towards our house. Cars passed by him left and right, until a man drove by, turned around in the road, stopped and asked my son if he needed a ride. My son gratefully got in with his baby, and the man went a mile out of his way to bring my son to our house.

When my son got out of the car with his daughter, he thanked the man repeatedly. My son was convinced that had the man not offered them a ride, he and the baby could have suffered heat exhaustion..or worse...walking. The man only said "You don't have to thank me, I only hope that one day you will return a similar kindness to someone in trouble."

My son carried his baby and the stroller ten feet into our yard, turned around to wave goodbye to the man, but the car was gone. There was no way the car could have left without my son hearing it leave, or seeing it drive down the road. I later told my son that this could have been an angel, and he believed me.

Wow, I loved reading these stories. I haven't encountered anything like these - although I have experienced acts of kindness from strangers nothing has stuck in my mind. It is so nice to hear these stories.

I enjoyed reading what people have shared about their experiences. I don't believe that I've ever encountered anyone that I thought was an angel in disguise. However, I do believe that it is possible.

I think that it would be very comforting and awesome to meet someone that was an angel in disguise. There would be so many things that I would want to ask and hope they'd give me the answers to.

Very interesting concept and very interesting shares that people have given. I look forward to coming back to this thread and reading more experiences. :)

I've never met someone like this. I like to help others as I would like them to help me. I have also encountered very friendly people that I could tell were Christians. No one struck me to be an angel though.

I’ve just seen the movie Constantine and though I know it is only fiction they may be truth in it in that there are angels and demons on earth to bring balance. As we are usually influenced by those around us, where we put our decisions or choices or on how we live our life, each side will come so we are guided. I think, like Luciano de Crescenzo said, “We are each of us angels”. For the goodness of others, correcting the wrong or fleeing temptation, we show ourselves to one another.

I know one thing for certain, angels send people into our lives to do the work for them. We just fail to recognize it.

Whether he or she is an Angel is unknown to me. What I do believe is that, if you're struggling at some point in your life, going through a rough patch, so to speak, you will receive divine guidance that comes directly from God, or your Guardian Angel, except it comes directly through another person.

The possibility that you have encountered an Angel still exist, primarily because you usually do not see these individuals again.

I had moved back to the San Fran Bay Area as a young adult, but after being there for about 2 weeks, living with a relative, I thought that the cost of living was too expensive for me to make it there. Was really down, seriously considering going back to Texas. I was at my lowest one day, had a conversation with a total stranger, a lady who calmly told me, "you will be alright, you will find a place to live that you can afford and everything will work out." As simple as the statement was, she had a certain peace about her and she was absolutely correct. Within a week or two after our conversation I found a place and found two jobs.

Another occasion, about 12 years later, I'm living in Atlanta (because of a job promotion I moved to Atl, that's the only reason I left the "City By The Bay"), had been married for 6 years and was going through a divorce and a not so pleasant custody battle. I was working out at the gym one Saturday afternoon. There were not that many people in the gym because it was a sunny day, on the weekend. I left the gym and after driving for a block or so, I said to myself, I may as well go back to the gym and work out for another hour or so because when I get home there won't be anything to do (at the time my ex-wife had temp custody and the kids were with her).

I turn around, go back to the health club and go back to the same locker that I used a few minutes earlier. Low and behold, my drivers license were in that locker, and I didn't even realize I had left my DL's at the gym. That's not really a big deal of course, that's no miracle. However, there was one guy in the locker room about 2 feet from me. I told him what just happened, that I came across my DL and was not aware that I had left it there. His response was, "Isn't God good?" Well, that kinda caught me off guard (not thinking it was that big of a deal) but I responded, "well, yes, God is good."

He and I started to talk and since I was going through a divorce and custody battle I mentioned it to him because that's the one concern that weighed heavily on my mind at the time. I told him I was fighting for custody of my son and daughter. He asked me, "do you mind if I pray for you?" Right there in the locker room. I believe that we were the only 2 people in the locker room. Again, his question caught me off guard, but I replied, "sure, we can pray." We both took one knee and he started praying. Not too long of a prayer, it was relatively short and concise. I shook his hand went back out in the workout area and continued my workout.

I had never seen the guy before, I never saw him leaving the locker room, and I never saw him again. A couple months later, Aug 1999 I was awarded full custody of my two children.

What made this an unusual situation is that I had never left the gym and come right back. Even if I had not returned I would have realized, once I got home, or at some point, "I don't have my drivers license." It would not have been a problem to pick it up later, and I'm pretty sure someone would have turned it in to the front desk.

It appeared to me then and now that there was a reason for me to return to the gym within 5 minutes of leaving. I'm not into religion, I subscribe to no religion, but I've always believed in the power of prayer and meditation.

Yes I have.  I call them earth angels but I dont know if its the correct term for them.

I was in the hospital getting my gallbladder out and I had to get a procedure where they put a camera down your throat and look at your stomach.  I think the name is endoscopy.  They said I would be sedated but I had to be semi conscious during it.  I was totally terrified to the point of just running.  On the way down to the procedure room they took me in this elevator and there was an old women who got on.  She didnt appear to work there.  She grabbed my foot and looked me in the eye and said "its going to be fine, Jesus loves you"  I am not at all religious in that way but suddenly the panic was gone and a feeling of safety and peace came over me.  I never forget her. I can see her as clearly now in my minds eye as I did that day.
