Although related to the question �Is there any way to contact my guardian angel?� farther down this page, this question implies that someone believes they have already �made contact� with an angel. We can not know with certainty whether your friend�s experience is �real� or not. The Bible states that angels do physically visit people. Still, during the 4,000 years of events recorded in the Bible, perhaps 50 visits are documented. (This does not include the part of Revelation that occurs in our future.) This is an average of one actual contact in the world per 80 years�not very frequently. Further, many of these visits were God appearing as an angel, and probably should not be included in this count. (To learn more about God appearing as an angel, click on this sentence.) To be fair, the Bible probably does not record every angelic visit during that 4,000 year time span, yet it seems likely that many of the hundreds (or thousands) of �encounters� numerous people believe they are having with angels each day are not real.

 I would have to agree , with both pravin and mamabear. Coming from a strong Bible based family , there are angels all around us and they do protect us in so many ways . I really truly believe that there are gardian angels that watch over and protect . I have had experiences with them and to me they are a comfort , to know that they are there .

Is it necessary to believe that we usually don't see angels because they are hiding?

I have never seen an atom, an ultraviolet light wave, or Alpha Centauri. But I know very well that it's not because "they're hiding from me and being sneaky". It's because they are too small, or the wrong wavelength for human vision to detect, or too far away.

Perhaps angels exist but their existence is of a nature that makes them difficult for humans to detect, for some reason or another - my guess would be due to a combination of their nonphysicality and the faith-dependent nature of interactions with them.

of course it is - if you believe angels exist - and i do. have you ever heard of EVP - voices from the afterlife. maybe they are angels - i guess it is your definition of angels

It is my beliefs that yes you can have contact with angels . I know alot of people that have been blessed in being able to speak with the angels as well . It is considered a blessing to be able to do that

We are human beings and we have an ability to do contact with the other world. though not all of us can do that. But it is hard to know which what we are contacting, angel or ghost?

if we base it in the Bible, it was an angel who informed Mother Mary that she is pregnant with the baby Jesus, so it might be safe to say that we could communicate with Angels and it was relatively easy before to communicate and see one.  but nowadays, we find it hard to even see one, though we might have already seen one if it's disguised as a human.
