A thread on lucid dreaming
« on: December 16, 2011, 02:33:45 AM »
Just had a lucid dream last night and oh was it so exciting! In the dream I just asked myself, wait a minute, is this a dream? I looked around and boom, hit lucidity, yaaaay. It's been a while so it started to fade, but then i tried to prolong it but focusing on the ground and spinning.

Anyways all I've been doing was brief reality checks few times a day and intending on having one while falling asleep. Also i hear to Nova Dream tool works well. Anyone have any other ideas on how to induce them more often and prolong them?

I've been enjoying lucid dreams for a few years now, but I didn't use any specific techniques to access them. I did develop an "Active Dreaming" habit where I would fall asleep by keeping my mind busy with an imaginary scene. It helped prevent anxiety from keeping me awake. I think it helped me develop my lucid dreaming skills too.
