How does one become an astrologist? Is there a school where you can learn how to become one?

I dont think so. It all depends on ones interest. I've a friend who's is and astrologer now. We both studied in the same school from our younger age. Totally he was not in the line of astrologer, when he finished his college, He was very much interested in astrology, he researched lot and read some books and finally I saw him as a astrologer.

yes i know certain places where they are teaching tosee the horoscope.. if you want to know such i will help you... those are considered to be best in the present day. it is considered to be the accurate prediction now a days

I too agree with him, the true astrologers are missing from this world. Even if there is someone, then also he may not be available for everyone. Its difficult to find such astrologers, who can predict the true picture of future.

There is one thing that everyone should keep in mind, and that is the future is malleable. Nothing is ever set in stone. Thus, no prediction should be held as a prophecy in an ever changing world. A prediction is simply the interpretation of the current energies surrounding a situation at the moment of the reading. Energy moves, changes constantly and it is up to us to bring the results that we want to ourselves by manipulating that energy.

It seems that you are correct to a certain extent. It is difficult to exactly predict what will happen in future but somehow a business man can also predict that the coming financial year will be good for their company or not. I am quoting this so as to make it clear that there is always something on which the prediction or forecasting is based. May be, this is the thing that astrology deals with and helps in its development.

that is right, nobody can exactly foretell what's going to happen in the future in plain black and white.  astrologers based their predictions on the movements of the stars and moons.

That is indeed a very difficult thing to study and predict. I think that they just have some past data about reported conditions and situations and they just take the help from those for prediction.

Hi,
I would suggest getting a reading done by an astrologer whom you respond favorably to. Then see if you find the reading useful and helpful. Then take lessons from this astrologer and practice on as many charts as you can. Start looking at your own chart a lot to learn all you can about yourself. To me, astrology is much more about learning about myself than it is about showing others their strengths and weaknesses. To me it is about self-discovery.
