Horoscopes

My friend believes in horoscopes but I do not. Before I read them everyday until I realized that if I read them in the beginning of the day, I was expecting it to happen so it happened. Or if I read it at the end of the day, I would think back remembering it the way the horoscope said it. And if I read it in the middle of the day it would be a mixture of both. For me it's all mental, the human brain truly is amazing.

However, I feel like there should be more to it. Maybe it's just because of the horoscopes I've been reading from random magazines and newspapers.

What is your opinion about horoscopes?

as per my experience.... i strongly belive in it because it is nothing to do with mind set i have seen it so many times... i have even understood my charecter by seeing it. horoscope is nothing but a pure calculation if you dont belive it then it's up to you... i have been told that horoscope is a instrument which is formulated to make man aware of things to come. so that he can be aware of things and be prepared for the misfortune

I don't pay much attention at all to horoscopes as in predicting daily events, but I do think there's some evidence that people tend to have the traits suggested by their horoscope profiles based on when they were born.

Unless it is an individual reading done for me. I don't believe in the horoscopes printed in magazines and newspapers.

I don't believe the horoscopes in the newspapers or magazines. But I do believe in Astrology and how you relate to the world.

I read horoscopes from newspapers and magazines but I don't take them too seriously. I just use it as a guide but don't necessarily depend on it to make major decisions.

For me, to believe your horoscope depends on each individuals. Well, I seldom read about this, it's like predicting your future or could also be guiding you to live your present. Do you think the people who are doing the reading of your future could also predict their present life?

Personally, I don't waste my time reading daily horoscopes found in the newspapers or magazines. They are just generalized and if a person from any given sign takes heed to what is being said, they might be sorely disappointed...As you have mentioned, it is all in the mind - we can basically spend a whole day exactly the way we vision it to happen as we are the ones who are creating our own reality. If this is the case, who actually needs the horoscopes anyway?

I agree with 'kasintahan', if we read the horoscope in the newpapers and magazines daily, we start taking the things in that way. We assume that it will happen in the same way as written in the newspaper and if we read it in the evening, then we start calculating and connecting the activities with the horoscope. Its just a game of mind and nothing else.

I too agree with you, its all about our mind and its thinking. I don't believe in these horoscope, they are printed in general and are of thousands of people at a time. They are just things that matches with people in general.

Same here, Don't read it everytime yeah read sometime when i am too free =P and frankly daily horscopes are always in favor of everybody

I read them everyday, I enjoy reading them, but I do not believe in them. They are just for fun.
But I do believe in the birth chart horoscopes which are based on your time and date and place of birth

i sometimes read horoscopes too, but i don't believe in it. right, it's purely a mind thing and normal coincidences sometimes. its just the imagination of the maker of the horoscopes and has nothing to do with how we live our lives.

Yeah, there are so many incidents and accidents which happen suddenly and are unexpected. How can they being forecasted for thousands and thousands of people all across the country?
