daily horoscopes are in large Not accurate and a joke..
I'm very sad to see so many people here that don't even have a basic understanding of Astrology.. daily horoscopes generally deal with just your Sun sign, and in reality the Sun sign is only the tip of the iceberg of your natal makeup... Each person also has an influence by the Moon, a rising sign (also called Ascendant), Mercury, and all of the other planets! The closer the planet is to the Sun, the more it contributes to your personality and makeup.
The Sun, Moon and Ascendant are generally the 3 most important factors, and are all extremely important. It's hard to say in exact terms, because there are a lot of factors that all play together, but I am sure the Moon and Ascendant combined are far more important than your Sun sign's singular importance, so I think that tells you something..
This post probably won't be read very much so I'll stop here, but I hope that this section gets taken more seriously soon because Astrology in the right context is amazingly wonderful
that being said, there are more accurate daily horoscopes available, that take all of your planetary factors into consideration. They often go with certain time frames, like when a certain planet is in a certain sign or parallel or opposite or forming a certain angle with another planet it effects you.. It has to do with the aspects (angles) in your birth chart, and the current position of the planets. I personally don't like to use Astrology to tell the future hehe.. so some of the stuff is becoming more intriguing to me as I learn more about Astrology, but I prefer to stick with personality analysis sort of stuff.
one thing that may be interesting to everyone tho, is called "The Saturn Return" in which Saturn makes a full circle through your birth chart and returns to where it was when you were born. It happens approximately every 29 years and effects you a great deal beginning at about the age of 27 and lasts til the early 30s.. So that is one cool progressive thing I learned, and I'm in my Saturn return right now (will be 28 next month) so I am definitely glad I learned about it
