... that's a strange thing to say - that because an atheist doesn't believe in a god/creator then automatically they mustn't believe in anything "non-physical".

well i'm an atheist, and i know that ghosts and divine creatures exist. it's not often i'm frightened by what i sense around me though.

My thoughts exactly. I'm an atheist but I do believe in the existence of ghosts. I mean, when I'm alone in the dark, I would be filled with fear because I know ghosts can be wandering anywhere in my house. I think antheists embrace more possibilities than religious people do and just because we don't believe in God doesn't mean we don't believe in the existense of other non-physical creatures.

IsabelleChan, what makes you think your house is haunted? Unless you've had some experiences I wouldn't worry about it. Most houses are not haunted.
