As far as spiritual truth is concerned, no single individual really has a monopoly on the market.  I think that what both Jesus and Buddha illustrated to people is that a greater spiritual potential resided within their very own souls (this is why Jesus said "The kingdom of Heaven is within you").  If they had lived at the same time and met each other, I am inclined to believe that they would have admired one another, and would have worked cooperatively to liberate human beings from oppression.

I completely agree that no one individual has ownership of spiritual truth. I hate it when people say this individual copied or stole for this other individual. If you study the oldest religions they share some common precepts at their core.

Jesus (or the story of Jesus) borrowed from Horus, Attis, Mithra, Krishna, Dionysus, and many other deities that were ascribed the very same characteristics.

People, we really need to wake up and realize that the longer we debate over mythical religious characters, Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, whoever, this will ensure that we stay divided and the few that are in control of this world will stay in control.

Many teaching of Jesus Christ are close to Buddhism. I think almost all new testament is like teaching of Buddhism. Already Buddha taught about skin and flesh which is taught by Christ.

It is not possible. Try to copy a Buddha. You will fail.
You are wrong.
