is tidings still applicable?

is tidings still applicable today where these religions had their 10% share of the earnings you get monthly, isn't this just in the old testament?

I guess you mean "tithing?" I think that it's harder to tithe in this day and age, simply because we're more reliant on our money than people were in the past. I think it's a worthy thing yo do, though, if you can survive otherwise.
