What are your favorite tarot card spreads?
« on: November 29, 2011, 07:23:23 PM »
I enjoy using just a basic 3 card layout for most personal questions, and the people I read for like them too. I have some other spreads that I use for more in-depth readings, like a 12 card spread for a look at the year ahead. What kind of spreads and layouts do you use the most or enjoy?

I make up card layouts when I read the Tarot, which isn't very often. I just consider what I need to know, and designate a card for each part of the situation. This has worked very well for me for many years.

Interesting. I have never been able to successfully read from a completely unplanned spread. I need to at least decide what positions and how many cards I need before I begin.

I use a lot of different tarot decks. Each deck is designed for specific situations or to calculate some of the events. well i have a deck of Tarot Paracelsus-I use it to diagnose health and the calculation methods of treatment

My favorite layout is the Celtic Cross. I find it helps me to keep my mind on track with the reading past, present and future possibilities. I don't believe the future is written in stone. Past behaviors can predict the most likely outcomes but it doesn't mean the person can't decide to change the path they're on.
