Thank You or Like Button
« on: July 20, 2012, 07:37:25 PM »
I want to recommend the addition of a "like" or "thank you" button. Sometimes, I want to like a post without responding with a one liner post.

I agree with you there. You can't always come up with a substantial post, yet you'd just like to pass on your appreciation and add to the reputation of the poster. A 'thanks' or 'like' button would cover the problem, and may also encourage some people to think more carefully before posting.

I'll third that idea. I didn't used to use those buttons very much, but as I get more involved in a community, I like being able to pass on that I appreciate a post without trying to add something substantial to the conversation when I don't really have anything else to add.

Yea, I like the idea also. I would add that there should not be a dislike button.

A dislike button would cause too many problems. ;)
