How do you Pray?

Prayer is a means to communicate with God, whatever you conceive God to be. When I pray I talk with my God, like I am talking face to face with Him. Talking about anything and everything in my life. How do you pray to your God?

I pray directly to one God because He is His Own mediator. I pray as I feel led.

You're right, mamabear. Prayer is one way of communicating to God. Well, I used to pray by saying the Holy rosary and telling all my feelings to Him and always asking forgiveness of my everyday sins. Do you agree that we commit sins everyday and we have to ask His forgiveness?

I'm with you on that, mamabear. Talk to God could be one form of prayers, perhaps, a heart to heart talked is the best. Why do some religion practice a ready made prayer? I mean, like saying that holy rosary and others.

I don't think so it's a ready made prayer, bethoven. Did you tried to looked the meaning of each prayer? Of course, we could also have our personal prayers to Him.

I talk to God as though I am having a conversation with a friend. I express gratitude for all things that I have and I also give thanks for those things that I believe are on their way. I also ask for guidance about things that I can't figure out, then I quiet my mind to listen for an answer. Prayer for me is not a ritual or something special that is done at a specific time. Every thought that I send to Universe is a form of prayer, because it is finding its way to the Creator.

I think one can pray in any form and at any time as long as he is doing it for a noble cause and with an innocent heart. Any specific spiritual practice will not going to help you unless and until you are not performing it with a true heart and holy feelings.

Prayer is the way how you talk to the god. It varies person to person. So when i pray i do it in secret and i wont disturb others.

I pray to GOD in my own style, I close my eyes and ask GOD for forgiveness. I believe that everything is by the GOD's will and it is HE who controls everything so if I have to ask something then I will ask from HIM only.
