My, how enlightening!  And it seems as it this was your one and only post from last October I guess you do not own any other thoughts as well!

In reality we do not own material things but do own the responsibility of keeping our spirit alive and well via our thoughts and deeds.

When it comes to the spirit, we are all responsible for the healthiness of our thoughts and deeds, as they have an influence on our own lives and the lives of others. It's not a question of ownership, rather a fact of membership to a spiritual community. Everyone, whatever their belief system, has the capability to be spiritual.

The capability, perhaps, but not always the inclination.

As for things like light existing - I've never seen light. I've seen the after-effects of light striking my retina and being converted by the cones and rods into neural signals to my brain, but I'd be hard-put to hold a piece of light and say "Here - here is light". I can't taste it or hear it or smell it, either. It would be just about impossible to tell you what light means to me - it's an individual-experience kind of thing.
