Lymph Drainage Massage
« on: August 10, 2012, 11:19:04 AM »
Has anyone tried Lympth Drainage Massage ?   This is something my functional medicine practitioner suggested to me and I found really interesting.

It keeps your lymph glands clear and flowing which is beneficial to our immune system.  Inflammation, stress and even your bra can stagnate the flow of the glands and lead to other health issues.   I am thinking of adding this to my detox routine but have not found a good reference for self massage yet.   If anyone has any experience and suggestions to share I would appreciate the input.

I've heard of it but never really tried it. I followed along with a couple of videos but didn't make it a regular part of my routine and haven't tried it again in years.

There are several videos on YouTube that give demonstrations on how to perform the massage. If you try it, let us know how it works for you. Maybe I'll look into again.
