Nice, I also believe in the healing power of music.
Music can make us feel uplifted or energized just like those dance songs or songs with fast beat and inspirational. Music can also make the people get together in a certain place for celebrations or gatherings.

I think it's the resonance of the sounds with our spirits that bring out emotions that can heal and uplift. Even the voice while chanting has power. Sound travels in waves and it vibrates throughout our bodies. Like ripples on a pond it spreads throughout us.

I was never a fan, didn't think I would ever appreciate this guys music, or genre, especially coming from an R&B, Contemporary Jazz, Old-School background.

One of my favorite movies is Shawshank Redemption starring Tim Robins and Morgan Freeman.

Robin's character, Andy Dufresne, ran the prison library. He received a donation of vintage books and music for the library. As he was sorting through the shipment, he came across an album, locked the guard in the bathroom, locked the door to the library, and played it on the PA system.

Red (played by Morgan Freeman, who also narrated the movie) made the following statement,

"I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it."

I researched the song and it was, "The Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart. They are actually singing about a husband who is unfaithful to his wife, but it's a beautiful song. I wrote an article about Mozart and included several of his compositions; which brings me to my point.

From that point forward, I became a huge fan of Mozart. His music is very soothing to the soul; it's very relaxing and it makes you forget about your troubles; at least temporarily. If you're a fan of the french violinist Jean-Luc Ponty, you'll love Mozart, except Jean-Luc is tad bit funkier than Mozart.

I also believe in the healing power of music. Whenever I feel down, music picks me right up. Even, my worst mood can be changed with music.

I am a big fan of classic music especially Mozart. I had teacher in the 4th grade that played classical music near the end of the school day. He said it was music appreciation, but I think he really needed some quiet time at the end of the day. We had to put our heads down on the table and no talking was allowed.

Hi,
I personally enjoyed listening to your sample music. It is very soothing and powerful. Thanks for sharing it.
I don't listen to a lot of music. I enjoy listening to the sounds inside of me that naturally occur. Then I also listen to my thoughts and feelings, etc.
Take care!
Chris K.
