What is a Gayatri mantra

Generally, a song has highest attraction than a poem or a statement. The attraction increases gradually from statement to poem to song. Therefore, any song related to God that attracts your mind to the highest order and makes you repeat it again and again is called as Gayatri Mantra. Hence, it is said that Gayatri is the highest mantra. It means that the prayer of God in the form of a song is the highest attraction.

But, people have misunderstood the actual sense and are thinking that a specific hymn related to God constructed in a specific meter called Gayatri is the highest. The hymn is not sung at all. It is simply recited. It is Gayatri because it is in the meter called Gayatri. But that is not the actual sense of Gayatri. Gayatri means any song related to God that attracts your mind. God told that He is always attracted by the song than prose and poetry (Vedaanaam saamavedosmi…).

 Gayatri mantra is the sole touching mantra. When it is recited with full devotion it gives great relief to you. Many persons recite this mantra while doing prayer.

Gayatri Mantra comes in Hinduism. It is a part of Hindu beliefs and Inspires wisdom. Generally this mantra is relate to the god to ask him to protect the basis of all life with self-existent, freedom from all pains and troubles.

Gayatri mantra is a high mantra, for enlightenment, protection etc.

It call on all that is, all that exists and threw if you read the interpritations of the main one doesnt even matter, as it ticks all the boxes. Asks for it all.

There are different gayatri mantras on a deeper note, but gayatri mantra main one

aum bhur bhuva etc is main one.

There's a member of our choir who signs the Gayatri Mantra. I'm not sure what the words mean, but it always brings tears to my eyes. It's just absolutely beautiful.
