Finding Never-land
« on: September 11, 2012, 11:00:30 PM »
Through clouds of gold
and silver streams
and dusk's reflecting light
I find my way to Never-land,

with times of uncertainty
and moments of clarity
that point the way.

The dust may fill my shoes, at times,
but the light will lift my wings
as I find my way
to Never-land.

The taste of its golden nectar
rests upon the horizon,
tempting me,
offering me its cup of love
and the choice to leave
the path well travelled behind,

as I walk on
to a new terrain
that I feel in my heart
and have always known in my spirit.

There I walk hand in hand
with the god light within
that knows me
and shows me I can do no wrong
—have done no wrong—
for the birth of the spirit
is known in innocence
and embraced in love

in that place
that some call
Never-land.

A very well-written poem with literary diction and impressive imagery. The first-person narration makes me feel connected to your self-discovery journey. Another great piece from you, Morning Star! Can I ask you when did you start writing poems and how did you learn to do it?

Hi Isabelle,

Thanks so much for your compliment and so glad you felt connected to the poem.

I started reading poetry a few years ago, and then it seemed to start flowing to me. For the most part I feel that it is channeled, and the poems were given to me to aid my own growth and healing. And of course I felt guided to also share them for love and for joy.
