We often hear the word moderate Islam and moderate Muslims. What is meant by moderation and what is the moderate version of Islam? What is "BUNYAD PARASTI"? Islam has 5 basic pillars KALMA TAYYABA, NIMAZ, ROZA, ZAKAT AND HAJJ. All are must and FARAZ. Zakat and Hajj are must for a fraction with defined resources but the first 3 are must for every Muslim. As such every Muslim is a BUNYAD PARAST if he follows the 5 obligatory pillars as none is a Muslim without these. Then how is it possible not to be a BUNYAD PARAST and still be a Muslim?

Moderation means nothing in excess in strict sense. According to a Wikipedia article on Moderation " Islam also consider moderation as a preferred way of life, even when applying religious norms. Moderate Muslims adhere to the concept of contextual relativism as a way to grasp meaning from the Quran. They also understand the Quran as a whole opposed to a discrete understanding. Furthermore, Moderate Muslims also follow various types of Hadith (prophet Mohammed's sayings) that favor moderation and view muhammad as an ideal example of a moderate Muslim and Human."

Another view say "Moderate Islam is itself a puzzle that can neither be solved nor can be made others understand. The views of the flag-bearers of Moderate Islam show that this is a new model of Islam, which is so enormous and possesses unlimited opportunities and possibilities. Efforts are being made to present the existing Makki and Madani Islam as obsolete and introduce a new edition of Islam in which sensualism and obeying Allah Almighty go together. In the opinion of those people who are bent to present such a model of Islam, neither Allah Almighty gets annoyed on any matter nor the Satan is unhappy. In this system interest is termed integral part of the economy while singing and dancing is taken as part of culture and heritage. Non-observance of purdah is taken for granted and mixing of men and women together is termed the demand of modern traditions. Besides, there are more reservations and objection, which can be adopted as part of Islam in this new and proposed system.
