I think that's not possible, I haven't heard such things nor did I read it. It can be a myth or just a simple magical trick that he may have performed infront of some people for the sake of popularity. If you can provide any link for any such article then I may change this thinking of mine.

But I think that the mystery is still unsolved. No one knows that whether it is a real fact or just a publicity. Does anyone come across the proof of his act till now? I don't think so, neither I believe it untill some solid proof is witnessed.

i've actually read several articles of people who can mentally transfer or hurl things, and this paranormal phenomenon has kept  our scientists in the dark.  you can actually read about it in the Internet, there are lots of articles regarding this.

Writing an article is something different and actually performing it publicly is other thing. Even I can write an article on such topic by providing you a name, which is unknown to you. We have just heard about it and we started believing it because it is written somewhere. There is no proof of it as it happened in the past.

Thanks for sharing this information. I'd not heard of Daniel Home until now. I checked out a couple website and have now added, "Daniel Dunglas Home (1833-1886), The most notable physical medium in the history of Spiritualism," to my reading "to do" list. Sounds like an interesting soul.

I'll have to look further into this study with teleportation. I would think they'd be using some theories in quantam physics and quantum mechanics if they actually tried to test this. Didn't they recently transport atoms in a recent experiment?

This isn't the study I was thinking of, but interesting if true. I'm a little leery of moving an entire object 18"
