I have a special chair which I use to meditate. Because I associate it with meditation and a deep sense of peace, as soon as I sit in it, my mind begins to get quiet and my body begins to relax.
I would suggest that you find a place where you feel comfortable and peaceful and use it consistently for your meditation practice. At those times when you don't feel motivated to meditate, you can still sit there and be quiet. While you are sitting there, you might then want to practice meditation. If not, just taking yourself away from the fast pace of daily life can be of tremendous benefit to you.
There are many forms of meditation. Just being quiet and still is one of them.
