Time, on the background of eternity, has been embedded into space. Human beings have limitation to live on the earth which is one of the planets in the solar system. The earth has a spherical shape. This means that people experience a sunrise or a sunset because of their position on the surface of the earth. Meditation does not have any constraint of the frame of time. You can only consider that our mind is least occupied with stress and speed of life when we just awake from a good sleep. It is, therefore, advisable that time for meditation should be set just on or before a sunrise.

I think that the best time to meditate is late night. When a person returns from the work, it has a lot of stress in his/her mind. This stress can be reduced through meditation and will help in getting a peaceful sleep for the whole night. The late night time is also fit for meditation as there is less noise in comparison to day time.

The best time to meditate is when you are alone or when you know you are not going to be disturbed by phone calls and unwanted callers or pesky pets and family members. You need peace and quiet for it.

One can choose composition of time according to his workload and time management. I prefer a time which satisfy my Meditative mood (when I feel relax and comfortable) to bring about improved mental and physical health.

I think early morning(before sunrise) is the best time to meditate. Its very pleasant at that time. Our mind can concentrate more in the morning than evenings.

for me, the best time to meditate would be before bedtime. coz the whole day you'll be stressed out from work or family problems, if you meditate before going to bed, all the stress would be gone and you will have a peaceful, stress-free sleep.

This is quite a cool idea, it helps you in gaining peace and removes stress from your mind before sleep and that's necessary for a good sleep. If you are not meditating on that time then you can try meditation in early morning, its also good for health.

I think it depends on which time or part of the day you feel you could concentrate and relax more. For me it would be at night cause it is more quite and the ambiance is quite right for meditation.

I can only concentrate late at night, when I'm done with most of my daily activities or ready to put aside pending concerns.

I found userful a meditation technique found in an old book, "The Power of the Subconcious Mind" by Dr. Joseph Murphy, and it has been really helpful through my life.

You can read the techinique in the Google Book's review here http://books.google.com/books?id=WJe_P8zc5NAC&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_atb#v=onepage&q=feet&f=false. just skip to page 67

Even though I have found another non-profit website where anyone can learn consciously relax and how to create a mental sanctuary using imagery straight right here http://asig.in/60

I would prefer sunrise as it is quiet and good feeling because sunrise symbolizes the new day. It is also good at sunset if you are alone somewhere near in the beach. Sunrise is great because most of the people are still sleeping and its good to breath in the fresh air especially if you will meditate while windows in your room are open.

In my opinion, the best time for meditation is at the dawn in the morning.
At that time, the surrounding is still quiet and all you can hear are just nature's sound.
And because you have just woke up, your mind is still fresh and alive.

I am a spiritual counselor and I have had this question brought to me by more than one client. I will tell you what I told them. The best time to meditate is the time you feel the need to. You will be drawn to meditate at the time that is right for you and that may not be the same time everyday. It may be the same time everyday. It is a very personal thing. When it is forced to be at a certain time or when a person is told "this time is the right time" it defeats the purpose and puts a strain on the whole meditation process and the purpose it serves.

Hi,can I  help you meditate?
Life is a short journey of being in the human world.

Man should pursue three major treasures in life: the richness of soul, the spiritual wealth, and material wealth. Man should first seek after the richness of soul, then the spiritual wealth, and finally the material wealth. None of the three treasures is dispensable. A life without any one of them will be imperfect.

In life if a person wants to live a free and easy life, he must know how to give up. Only if he can continuously give up, can he continuously surpass himself. Abnegation is a major magic weapon for the growth of soul and spirit, and more importantly abnegation is the best way to sublime oneself and obtain a beautiful future. Abnegation is included in the core teachings of Jesus Christ and Buddha Sakyamuni, in the freedom and happiness of life, and in the mystery to lead life to heaven.

What is most easily obtainable is the most precious. We must be highly clear-headed that what comes by easily is very precious. We should not think that what we have gained easily is of little value. Rather, what is most easily available is most precious. We should regard them as the favor of the Greatest Creator, and we should take this principle as the valuable book of life.

Love nature, you can hear the sound of nature and understand its meaning, you can taste the profundity of the Creator, you can understand the sanctity and order of the Greatest Creator, you can arouse your power of mercy and sympathy, you can treat everything in the universe equally, and you will be exempted from the vexation and worries resulting from the distinction between the noble and the humble, and you can prevent yourself from being eliminated by the principle of life.
