Donate excess to the poor and needly- Control corruption

Shri Satya Sai Baba established the four pillars which are truth, Justice, peace and love in the context of pravrutti. The truth and justice result in eradication of corruption. Peace and love result in non-violence. Therefore, anti-corruption and non-violence are the two concluding words for the four pillars. If truth and justice are perfectly established, peace and love are the natural consequences. The government officials are highly corrupt and swallow lot of money to do their duties only. Their heads, which are the government itself, swallow at least 75% of the funds by way of corruption. The officials swallow rest 25%. There are no funds to help the poor and the needy. Apart from this, the officials often go on strikes to increase their salaries. They say that the prices have gone up and it is very difficult to meet both the hands.

Can they put this question in the light of poor and downtrodden, who die with hunger without even one meal per day? The officials argue that if they save the funds without fighting for increasing their salaries, the funds are swallowed by the ministers and other members of the government. They say that the funds will not reach the poor even if they do not fight since the funds are swallowed by the heads of the government only. Therefore, they justify their fight. Such arguments are half way and apparently justified. It will be fully and really justified only if they donate the excess to the poor and needy.

Corruption is encouraged by the power that people have. People who usually steal and misallocate public funds, are officials. The same officials are the ones who control the security forces and the laws of the country. When people try to speak up, they are arrested and tortured. Mass protests are violently crushed. The solution lies in good men standing for elections and occupying those positions of power. Then, they can allocate the resources well and life can go to normal. As long as the authorities are evil and corrupt, violence will continue.
