Hello!
« on: July 24, 2011, 01:52:52 AM »
I'm new to the forum and I thought I would introduce myself. I've been practicing Celtic Paganism for over 15 years now. I hope to find a lot of interesting topics to talk about with you all.

Hi! Welcome!! I hope you like it here. I am new myself, but it seems like a pretty cool place to hang out on the web.

Is Celtic Paganism different from Druid practices?

Hi, thanks for the welcome. Celtic Paganism isn't that different from Druidism, but I found out a number of years ago that some people get upset when I say I follow Druidism. The reasoning was that Druids were priests and unless you're ordained you don't follow Druidism, but Celtic Paganism. I just didn't want to ruffle any feathers on my first post.

Hello! I’ve been learning about other people’s religion and beliefs in this forum. I’m personally glad to be a member as it opens my views and understanding to what I don’t know and to what I also should have knowledge of. ‘Hope we can enlighten each other to our faith, beliefs and religion. Let us all inspire each other.  :)

It is nice to have another practicing pagan here. I don't use the term personally, but it does still somewhat apply to my spiritual beliefs. How did you originally begin your path in Celtic studies?
