Your spiritual goal?
« on: February 16, 2010, 06:13:17 PM »
What do you think about your spiritual goal? For me the main aim of our life is the attainment of our spiritual dignity to merge with the God within us. What are your views?

we cannot underestimate the importance of overcoming and being transformed into the image of God. But why have we grown in some areas and not in others? Most likely, it is because we do not set spiritual goals for overcoming in the areas in which we continually fall short and sin.

I wonder if I have any "spiritual" goals. I just want to learn to live fruitfully and happily. This is something I have been unable to do so far, for some unknown reasons. I now want to live a full, happy life. That's my goal, though I do not know if you can call it a spiritual goal.

Self inquiry is the best way to realize your hidden powers in the form of God-Self. Once you will find your true identity or awareness, you can transform yourself in a true spiritual person and attain true goal of your life.

My spiritual goal is to develop my self growth and believe. It is a way to connect with your soul to God.

I think I could say that my spiritual goal is to make my faith stronger as I do my best to be a good person.  And would want to have a more  meaningful and purpose driven life.

I would say my spiritual goal is to be the best person I can be, every day of my life. If  I can't do or say anything good, I don't do or say anything. However, there's a difference between being good and being a doormat. If you allow people to take advantage of your better nature, you cannot respect yourself. Spirituality has many facets, and self respect is just one of them.

My spiritual goal is to discover a deeper meaning to the world around me through exploration of the non-physical world. I use meditation, trance and prayer to do this. I don't necessarily aim to transform myself into a better person, but I know that my attempts to go deeper into the spiritual worlds will have this as a side effect.

My ultimate spiritual goal is to be able to pray without ceasing...to have my life be a prayer.

To heal my mind body and soul, to be able to live, although im not dying I dont want to live the way I am, I wont, I am basically going to commit suicide, Im suprised I got thsi far.

I am doing this to get some strength so I can live for a while thats all nothing else expected.

I wish to open my chakras, all fo them, be one with God, find the truth about God and the world.

theres not much good going to happen so I dont mind leaving. My only thoughts are I am here to be punished for past lives sins? So to wash away all my bad karma and sins and be one with the creator and be one with my true higher self and rid of all ego, fear and honestly im not that materialistic anyways, hense dont see the point being here.

My spiritual goal is to become even closer to God than I already am.  My goal is to become a stronger and better Christian than I am.  I know that I don't witness God's love and forgiveness like I should and my goal is to try to be better at showing His forgiveness.  One of my things that I ask in prayer each day is for help to become a better and stronger Christian.

Forgiveness is a big part of spiritual awakening, also realisation of the truth.

My ultimate goal is to be able to meditate into an astral projection within 20 minutes any time I want to. Having full control of my consciousness and no longer being bound to my body when I don't want to be, to me, is the ultimate.

My spiritual goal is to get as close to the Lord as possible and stay there. To know that I am in touch with Him and not fear anything that is earthy, which might distract me from that goal.
