hi everyone,

i would like your advice on automatic writing, does anyone here do it? if so, are your eyes closed or open? how long do you sit for?

i don't close my eyes. it isn't necessary (fortunately, because i use the keyboard). nor is it necessary to "blank" your mind. but a word of warning. like all other communication with invisible beings,  you don't know their intention. you don't know their sincerity, and you can't simply tell by what they commumicate or make you feel.

the one/s giving you the words could spin an entire bunch of lies so never assume you are dealing with someone "good".

don't expect to feel negativity. this is a fallacy. think of actors on tv or when you are watching a movie. it is natural to become emotionally involved, yet it's all pretense on the big screen. it is too easy for invisible beings to fake the feelings and images you pick up on. especially as you are less one vital clue which we humans depend on when making personal judgements - body language. you can't see their bodies, and to be honest they can present any "image" of themselves they want telepathically.

My brother performs this practice for about 30 minutes. He keeps himself in a closed room with a relaxed mind then start writing all his thoughts on a paper, whatever comes in his mind at that moment, whether positive or negative.

I have one friend of mine  used to perform this practice in a separate room and continuously wrote what came in his mind continously for 15-20 minutes. Many of our friends used to laugh of him and asked him, 'Have you gone mad?'

I personally do not think that it is weird at all . I know alot of people that do that as well and I have to admit I do it to and I do find it relaxing

I have a close friend who does this and she says she only does it when she wants to contact someone at sone other person's request. I have seen her results and they have surprised me and amazed me

Can anybody tell me in details that what is automatic writing and what is the experience that a person gets from it?

A slow music is really helpful in achieving a goos comfort zone for your mind so that one can start his automatic writing with a clear mind. I basically prefer this practice in a close room without any disturbance to express my thoughts.
